Linda Dangoor´s experience in the clay medium has inspired her to experiment with new painting techniques. Having worked in pastels and oil paint, she began using acrylics; mixing materials such as sand, clay and marble dust into the paint to create densely textured surfaces.
Incorporated into her paintings are fragments of linen and paper that have been soaked with various pigments and buried in the earth to mature and be transformed.
The written word forms an essential part of her work.
